Roles and Responsibilities

Content Creation & Curation:

  • Lead the creation of diverse and engaging learning content (articles, videos, tutorials, webinars, modules).

  • Curate existing educational resources to enrich the learning experience.

Community Management & Engagement:

  • Foster a positive and collaborative online learning community.

  • Facilitate discussions, organize events, and promote knowledge-sharing.

  • Gather and analyze feedback to improve content and engagement strategies.

  • Provide technical support to community members

Learning Path Development:

  • Develop structured learning paths and curricula aligned with community needs.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create relevant learning materials

Communication & Analytics:

  • Communicate with internal teams, community members, and external partners.

  • Utilize data analytics to assess content effectiveness and community engagement

  • Make data-driven decisions to optimize learning experiences.

This role also has supervisory responsibilities and will require coaching, feedback, performance management of team members.


Tasks and activities:

  • Lead the creation of diverse and engaging educational content, including articles, videos, tutorials, webinars, and interactive learning modules.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative online learning community by facilitating discussions, organizing events, and promoting knowledge-sharing among members.

  • Develop structured learning paths and curricula, ensuring alignment with the needs and interests of the community members.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and industry professionals to create relevant and impactful learning materials.

  • Curate existing educational resources and external content to enrich the learning experience for community members.

  • Gather and analyze feedback from community members to continuously enhance content quality and community engagement strategies.

  • Provide technical support to community members, ensuring a seamless learning experience and addressing any issues promptly.

  • Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of content and community engagement efforts, making data-driven decisions to optimize learning experiences.

  • Effectively communicate with internal teams, community members, and external partners to promote upcoming events, new content releases, and community achievements.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in content development, community management, or educational program management, preferably in an online learning environment.

  • Strong passion for education, lifelong learning, and community engagement.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

  • Experience with content creation tools, multimedia production, and online community platforms.

  • Analytical mindset, proficient in using data to assess content effectiveness and community engagement metrics.

  • Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt to emerging trends in online education and community management.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Flexible to work in shifting schedules, as well as holidays.

Preferred skills and competencies

  • Experience with specific Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Experience Platforms (LXPs): While a strong understanding of online learning environments is important, the ability to learn new platforms quickly is more essential.

  • Experience in a specific industry: Understanding the interests and needs of the target community is helpful, but a strong foundation in community management, instructional design principles, and the ability to adapt to different learning contexts is more crucial.

  • Advanced video editing or graphic design skills: While these skills can be beneficial for creating engaging content, the focus is on leading content creation, not necessarily creating everything themselves.

  • Experience with gamification techniques: The ability to incorporate game mechanics into learning experiences can be a plus, but strong facilitation and engagement skills are more important.

  • Experience with community management tools: While some familiarity with online community management tools is helpful, the ability to manage and engage a community is more essential than specific software knowledge.

  • Experience as a public speaker or online facilitator: confidence presenting and leading discussions online is valuable, but strong communication and interpersonal skills are a plus.
